Daniel Robert "Danny" Elfman (born May 29, 1953) is an American composer, best known for scoring music for television and film and creating The Simpsons Theme as well as the 1989 Batman film theme. He was the lead singer and songwriter for the rock band Oingo Boingo, from 1976 to 1995. He has scored the majority of the films for his long-time friend Tim Burton.

Danny also composed Jakelsm and the Big, BIG Movie (with Jake Sharratt, the creator of World of Jake) The Nightmare Before Christmas (Tim AGAIN), Alice in Wonderland (The 2010 one, directed by You-Know Who) Tim's 2 Batman films, and non Tim films like the Spider-Man, Men in Black, and Greeny Phatom The Movie series.
